Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: The aims of this review are to determine the effects of laceback ligatures for controlling the position of the: anterior teeth (amount of flaring/proclination of incisors or canines or both) during orthodontic treatment compared with participants not having laceback ligatures placed as part of their orthodontic treatment and/or posterior teeth (amount of mesial movement of molars or premolars or both).
