Abstract

The article is devoted to one of the most urgent issues of health management, namely the selection of affordable and effective method of examination of the quality of care. Based on the literature discussed in detail the advantages and disadvantages of modern methodological approaches to this problem. The authors have shown that the method of direct quantitative assessment based on the qualimetric principle ideal for use in relatively small hospitals of stationary type, as it combines the efficiency, visibility and quantify the results of expertise. This method is easily implemented by computer data processing and integrated into existing automated systems of management in medical organizations. The possibility of the practical use of this method and its effective impact on the quality of care shown by the example of a hospital in Volgograd.
