Abstract

High on energy: An ordered mesoporous core/shell structured SnO 2/C nanocomposite was obtained from a facile vacuum-assisted impregnation route by using SBA-15 as a hard template. The nanocomposoite exhibits high specific capacity and excellent high-rate performance as an anode material for lithium-ion battery (see graph). © 2013 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
