Abstract

The authors introduce a novel magnetic phenomenon, i.e., a photo-induced magnetic pole inversion. This phenomenon can be achieved by the combination of two new types of magnetic behavior developed recently using a Prussian blue analog mol.-based magnet. One of these is known as mixed ferro-ferrimagnetism, and the other is photo-magnetism. The authors 1st describe briefly mol.-based magnets, particularly Prussian blue analogs, and then describe these two new types of magnetism. Finally, the photo-induced magnetic pole inversion phenomenon is described. [on SciFinder(R)]
