Abstract

This paper provides an overview of the history of computing and its affect on computing in foreign language teaching in China. It describes the evolution of the history of computing through activities such as conferences, collection and archival activities, language labs, books and journals, and websites. It also illustrates the use of computers in the history of foreign language teaching and learning in computing second language acquisition. © 2012 Springer-Verlag GmbH Berlin Heidelberg.
