Bis(2,2′-bipyridine-κ2 N,N')bis(dicyanamido-κN 1)cadmium

Abstract

In the title compound, [Cd(C2N3)2(C 10H8N2)2], the CdII ion is coordinated in a distorted octahedral environment by four N atoms from two chelating 2,2′-bipyridine ligands and two N atoms from two monodentate dicyanamide ligands. The dihedral angle between the mean planes of the two bipyridine ligands is 87.67(6)°.
