Abstract

The José Mira's projection has been very important in my personal and professional life. I was their pupil in the faculty and in the development of my doctoral thesis, co-worker in their first investigation projects and, however, his friend. I have a great regret due to their sudden disappearance, and I want that these notes are of acknowledgment like homage toward their work and dedication in the scientific aspects and in their human quality, their generosity and capacity to integrate to people and ideas in a friendly and family environment. I present a summary of the topics in those that I worked with him, the investigation lines that opened up and that they affected me directly among the years 1981 to 1989 in their stages of Granada and Santiago de Compostela and what their work projected on mine and in my professional later career. I include some anecdotes that I have remembered while was writing. © 2009 Springer Berlin Heidelberg.
