Abstract

Uterine artery embolization (UAE) is a well-established, safe, and effective endovascular technique for the management of uterine pathology including obstetric hemorrhage, uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, and uterine vascular malformations. This chapter will focus on the use of UAE in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) and uterine leiomyomata (fibroids).
