Abstract

In this work we propose a new method for ultrasound imaging segmentation in objective to help doctors and specialists to interpret anatomical structure. The proposed method is based on fuzzy fusion theory in objective to extract the venous thrombosis contour in ultrasound images acquired in vivo case. The first obtained results by optimization algorithm, adapted to our particular problem case are presented. © 2008 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
