Abstract

Assessment is a very important part of the education process and is a major concern for most students. They can influence students’ decision to take a given course of study or not and often define the overall student experience. Besides, assessment results have a lifelong impact on students and their careers (Brown, Race, & Smith, 2004). Employers do not only use outcomes ofassessment to help them identify good candidates: they also expect the graduates to possess numerous skills that will enable them to succeed in theworkplace. However, traditional methods ofassessing students do not always succeed in equipping students with both the technical know-how and the generic skills needed for accounting professionals.
