Abstract

In industrial production, the construction industry, and in daily life, manual activities will remain of central importance. The manifold environments and tasks require the development of different support systems. The choice of a system for a concrete application strongly depends on the context. In addition to (semi-) automated solutions, wearable systems for physical support have been developed in recent years. This chapter introduces needs, context-relevant requirements, and exemplary systems for support in industrial production.
