Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Cipta Agung Mandiri

Abstract

Cipta Agung Mandiri is an agent and distributor of companion books (LKS) for elementary schools that was established in 1997 in Pasuruan City, East Java. Leadership style is needed as an indicator of the success of a company. In addition to leadership style, work motivation is important for companies because by motivating employees, it can help improve employee performance so that company goals can be achieved. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance simultaneously or partially. The sample in this study was 45 permanent employees of Cipta Agung Mandiri Kota Pasuruan in 2022. Leadership style and work motivation contributed to employee performance by 70.8%, the remaining 29.2% was influenced by other factors. Companies must improve their leadership style in order to create a conducive working atmosphere and increase motivation for their employees to work well and be responsive to produce even better performance.
