Abstract

A zig-zag contactor is a geometrically simple device which enables the continuous transfer of heat and/or mass between more or less fluidized solids and gases. In the present investigation the effect of axial mixing of both phases on the efficiency of the column during physical adsorption was examined. (from author's abstract)
