Abstract

The selection of software in IT industry involves various parameters and requires an evaluation of performance against a variety of criteria. So, a multicriteria decision making model is very suitable to handle the situation. In this paper, the main objective is to develop an aggregation operator under complex q-Rung Orthopair fuzzy sets (Cq-ROFSs). Also novel grey similarity measure and score function are proposed on Cq-ROFSs. Then this study intends to present a fuzzy intelligent system for the selection of software with the help of Techniques for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), and Evaluation Based on Distance from Average Solution (EDAS) methods. Finally, a case study for an IT industry is presented to verify the validity of the proposed method.
