Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: To assess the beneficial and harmful effects of beta-blockers alone or with isosorbide mononitrate versus placebo or no intervention for people with cirrhosis and gastro-oesophageal varices that have not bled.
