Desarrollo económico y actividad pesquera en el sur de Cataluña

Abstract

This article sets out the results of research that aims to determine the char- acteristics of fishing development in the province of Tarragona not only from the social, territorial, and economic point of view, but also from the perspective of the public policies implemented in this sector. It discusses the role played by the various social, economic and institutional agents, and the importance of the sustainable and respon- sible management of fishing.
