Abstract
The paper introduces MVC design pattern briefly, then discusses the Struts framework based on J2EE MVC pattern and finally gives the development procedure of how to design Web application with Struts framework. From this we can see that software framework and component reuse can enhance the efficiency of software development, offer clear responsibilities between Web page designers and software developers and improve system maintainability and extensibility. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2006.
