Abstract

Background: Material and methods: Results: Conclusions: ‪The paper presents some insights into the organisation of physical education classes in primary and secondary (lower secondary level) schools in Bihor county, Romania. Data were collected by questionnaires applied to physical education teachers from primary and secondary schools in rural and urban areas, which were then descriptively analysed. ‪The results indicate an insufficient number of physical education hours established in the primary and secondary school curriculum. Conclusions. There is a need to improve the quality of sports infrastructure and facilities in schools (synthetic sports fields, multisport fields, etc.), both through the involvement of school management and local public authorities. ‪There is a need to improve the quality of sports infrastructure and facilities in schools (synthetic sports fields, multisport fields, etc.), both through the involvement of school management and local public authorities.
