Abstract

Having presented what is to be modeled in software process, who the actors of software process are, and when software process actors act, we have made a step towards how to model software process, or more exactly a step towards how should be SPM formalisms. Many SPM formalisms have been recently presented within software engineering projects like ALF[1], Marvel[4], Arcadia[10], IPSE 2.5[11], TRIADCML[9],… Even if every proposed formalism tackles correctly several fundamental aspects of software process modeling, no one is powerfull enough to allow SPM designer to express all listed informations on SP (what, who, and when). Nevertheless these formalisms explore promising trends and allow SPM designer to better understand the SPM design activity.
