Abstract

Law No. 1 of 1974 provides a minimum age limit for everyone who wants to get married, namely the man has reached the age of 19 years and the woman has reached the age of 16 years, in addition to the prospective bride and groom who have not reached the age of 21 years must obtain permission. parents, thus the Court will issue a marriage dispensation as a marriage license for those who have not yet reached adulthood through a number of legal processes. Counseling activities about the impact of early marriage need to be given to students at the Nahdhatul Ilmi Islamic Boarding School foundation, especially for those who are in class IX to class XII in order to minimize their desire to marry at an early age. Among the impacts of underage marriage is the violation of Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning marriage and Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning child protection, it also has an impact on education, psychological and emotional, biological and health as well as social and economic.
