Abstract

In this paper, implementation of an Iterative Feedback Tuning (IFT) and Myopic Unfalsified Control (MUC) algorithms into a microcontroller is investigated. First step taken was to search for a suitable hardware to accommodate these complex algorithms. The Motorola DSP56F807C and ARM7024 microcontrollers were selected for use in the research. The algorithms were coded in the C language of the respective microcontrollers and were tested by simulation of the DC Motor models obtained from step response of the motor. © Springer Science+Business Media B.V. 2010.
