Abstract

This paper presents XML4Ada95, the implementation of an Ada binding to the XML parser library Xerces, offering for the first time a validating, general XML package in Ada95 with a complete access to XML the DOM Levels 1 and 2 Core. Xerces is written in C++, so patterns for interfacing Ada95 with C++ in a standardized fashion were developed in order to write XML4Ada95. Those patterns are described here, along with examples of how to use XML4Ada95 in your own application.
