Abstract

This chapter articulates what a sex-positive approach entails, why it is essential when supporting TGD youth, as well as gives specific and relevant ways to incorporate it into clinical work supporting TGD youth who are navigating sexual and romantic relationships. While some suggestions apply across all ages, many have to be adapted, given how wide the developmental range is between birth and 26 years of age.
