Fault diagnosis of diesel engine based on BP neural network

Abstract

Diesel engine is the heart of many equipment and the military equipment, so it is important to ensure its well working condition and maintains its whole working efficiency. Currently diesel engine fault diagnosis is mostly using the bench test method. Because the complex comstructure of the test bench, this method cost too high and takes too long, in application departments promotion difficulties. And in recent years, the development of the technology of artificial neural network provides a new way for fault diagnosis. © 2012 Springer-Verlag London Limited.
