Abstract

The PerLa language and the related middleware have been developed to ease the task of querying heterogeneous devices in pervasive systems. This paper presents, in a detailed way, some of the main features of the PerLa language by showing how it can be applied to the wine production process. © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
