Abstract

Nasal decongestants may be bought without prescription. We report a case of extreme illness resulting from ingestion of the contents of one nasal inhaler. The illness was followed by the syndrome of “shock lung.”. © 1972, British Medical Journal Publishing Group. All rights reserved.
