Abstract

In order to deliver comprehensive care to pregnant women and their babies, it is important to ensure skilled care at every birth. Integrated Management of Pregnancy and Childbirth is a strategy with a set of guidelines and tools for people who plan or deliver health services including health workers. The strategy is designed to improve access to and quality of care for pregnant women and their babies.
