Abstract

Social media are computer-mediated communication tools frequently used for co-creating value because they promote communication, interaction and collaboration among all actors. This paper provides a description of the cocreativity process by Social Media within the product development process analysing the consumers’ involvement in the different steps (product design and production, product improvement before market introduction; product sale and product innovation).
