Abstract

In the paper various mathematical models of vertical (lift) transportation are constructed and investigated. For minimizing of a customer average waiting time before service and reducing energy expenses of the system the various control policy are introduced. The comparison of introduced control policies have done and advantage some of them have found. Various examples, demonstrating these results are given. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.
