Abstract

Radiological interpretation of the infant's spine may be difficult and a clear understanding of its appearance at different ages is essential if deformity and malalignment are to be recognized. Normal development of the cervical spine is discussed in the section on cervical trauma. © Springer-Verlag London Limited 2010.
