Abstract

Progressive supranuclear palsy is a neurodegenerative disease that affects cognition, eye movements and posture. It is described as a tautopathy characterized by supranuclear gaze palsy, extrapyramidal symptoms and cognitive dysfunction. Diagnosis is clinical and treatment is supportive therapy. We present a 44-year-old male with signs of supranuclear gaze palsy, extrapyramidal symptoms and cognitive dysfunction.
