The present work aims at discussing how the notion of Quality (especially in what refers to Educational Quality) is presented in the Federal Constitution and LDB. The objective, besides mere exegetical analysis, is to present how this basic idea (the Quality) gives rise in the text of the Law to inconsistent and / or contradictory interpretations regarding its implementation in the scope of Educational Policies geared to Educational Management in Brazil.
