Abstract

A case of autoimmune progesterone dermatitis is reported. The patient, a 22-year-old female, presented with recurrent erythema on the face for more than 2 years, accompanied with significant burning sensation. The rash usually exacerbated 3-5 days before menses and relieved after that. Intradermal injection test with progesterone was positive, compared with the negative result of either estrogen control or normal saline.
