Abstract

The article attempts to assess the impact of warm up on the singers voice. To estimate the impact, values of The Singing Power Ratio (SPR) were calculated for the singing samples. The hypothesis is that the warm up will have a positive effect on the parameters of the singing voice. The conclusion resulting from the statistical analysis is that the warm up has a positive effect on the quality of the singing voice but the strength of the impact depends on the personal abilities of the singers.
