Abstract

Cochlear implant (CI) is a solution to the people who are hearing impaired. With the CI, they can imagine their world with voice. Lots of technical advancement has been done in this area, and still, there are some shortcomings with it. This paper focuses on the challenges which were faced by person equipped with CI in their daily routine life due to technological and different kinds of gap. This paper discusses the basic requirements in the form of hardware and software which are useful and which are difficult for them. In this paper, besides the technical challenges we also include certain social challenge which affects the social life of CI users.
