Abstract

Recently, network organizations have been suggested as a solution for future crisis management and warfare. This will, however, have consequences for the development of decision support and critiquing systems. This paper suggests that there are special conditions that need to be taken into account when providing the means for decision-making in networked organizations. Hence, three research problems are suggested that need to be investigated in order to develop useful critiquing systems for future command and control systems. © 2004 by International Federation for Information Processing.
