This chapter discusses the book’s contribution which includes the role of African languages in education and cultural production. In essence African languages are used in education and in the multimedia, literature, and music. Another contribution of the book which this chapter handles is to show the interplay between religion, language, and pedagogy. For instance, among the early Yorùbá Christians there was no oral-written divide. The chapter ends by outlining the structure of the book.
