The article deals with the problem of communication culture transformation in the modern information space. Modern achievements in information technology are increasingly moving the communication process into the information space, which naturally leaves certain imprints on its character. In this article, the authors attempt to analyze communication features in the digital space, to identify the conflict potential of Internet communication, to describe network communication culture and to propose solutions that will help to reduce the conflict potential of Internet communication in general, and resolve emerging network conflicts. Further, the author states that digital society is not only the result of technological progress, but also the result of the changing human experience. The subject of a socio-philosophical analysis is online communication, which is a ground for the formation of a complex digital society. A person becomes a subject of digital society by mastering computer technology and communication capabilities. The digital age is characterized by multidimensional connections and ambivalence of relations: on the one hand, communicative freedoms are revealed to a person; on the other hand, new forms of dependence, risks and conflicts arise. Factors that radically change the quality of network communication and increase its level of conflict are identified. Thanks to virtual reality, a person acquires new identities, characteristics and parameters of personal being. It is established that social networks generate new forms of communicative practices. The development of digital ethics is considered, and basic rules of Internet communication are formulated. The prospects of philosophical reflection in the face of new technological capabilities are determined. The article draws our attention to the emergence of new educational strategies and the rethinking of the scientific process in the digital communications age.
