ANKARA ÜNİVERSİTESİ EĞİTİM BİLİMLERİ FAKÜLTESİNDE GÖREV YAPAN ÖĞRETİM ÜYELERİNİN LİSANSÜSTÜ ÖĞRETİME ÖĞRENCİ SEÇME SÜRECİNE İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Abstract

ÖZET Bu çalıma lisansüstü öretime örenci seçme sürecine ilikin öretim üyelerinin görülerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıtır. Aratırma 2002-2003 öretim yılında Eitim Bilimleri Fakültesi'nde görev yapan 13 öretim üyesi ile gerçekletirilmitir. Aratırmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak "yarı yapılandırılmı görüme teknii" kullanılmıtır. Görüme yapmak üzere, amaçlı örnekleme (purposeful sampling) yolu izleyerek lisansüstü öretime örenci seçme sürecine jüri üyesi olarak katılan öretim üyeleri görümeci olarak seçilmitir. Öretim üyelerinin sürece ilikin görüleri, lisansüstü öretime örenci seçme sürecinin mevcut haliyle olumsuzluklar taıdıı izlenimini desteklemektedir. ABSTRACT This study was carried out in order to found out the perceptions of academicians (lecturer) during the selection of postgraduate students. The study was conducted with the 13 lecturers in 2002-2003 academic year at the Faculty of Educational Sciences. In this study, semi-structual interview technique was used as a data gathering technique. Lecturers who had been involved in the selection process were asked to participate as interviweer. As a result it was founded that there were many problems and negative implementations on selecting the canditates for gradute students and the views of the academical staff also supported that inferring.
