Abstract

Some features of the binary systems of boron with rhenium andthe platinum metals are reported. R0713, and RhTB3 are isomorphouswith Ru,B, ('I‘hfli‘ea (D10,)-type). The structure of ReB, is closelyrelated to those of M0,Bs and W,B,. ]EthB,~H and PtB crystallize inthe anti-NiAs structure, and a phase with the approximate com- position Irl3~1_1 is isomorphous with ThSi, (Ga-type).
