Abstract

S2 TL;DR: A model of crime in which an abstract state machine is utilized to provide a precise logical/mathematical foundation to an agent-based model, allowing researchers to explore the individual-level dynamics that emerge as a result of different crime theories in an environment that is free from the usual complexity of the real world.
