Abstract

This issue reviews our current understanding of mid-ocean ridge processes in a collection of individually authored chapters. Topics covered include: ridge segmentation; magma at MORs; the RIDGE and InterRidge programs; volcanology; tectonics; seismicity; hydrothermal vents; biology of vents and seeps; megaplumes; tomographic imaging; and the life and work of Bruce C.
