Abstract

This article defines as 'colonization at home/in the house', the phase of the recycling that takes place at home; that is, classify and / or baling paper and paperboard, collecting the material up the time of sale. For this, describes this activity in the Latin American context which can be considered as 'non-classical work'. Then critically analyzes the relationships between subjects and objects, through interviews. Thus, colonization implies territorial invasion, intrusion of instrumental logic and subjective affectation that makes available to the 'objects-trash' to the subjects themselves.
