Abstract

Collaboration skills and environmental literacy are important skills for students to have. This research aims to improve the collaboration skills and environmental literacy of students through the implementation of the surrounding nature exploration approach integrated group investigation (GI). This classroom action research using a qualitative descriptive method consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subject in this study is students of X IPA 1, SMAN 3 Jombang. Data collection is at the end of the learning cycle. The results showed the collaboration skills and environmental literacy of students were improved after following two learning cycles. So, the implementation of the surrounding nature exploration integrated GI can improve the collaboration skills and environmental literacy of students at environmental education (EE).
