Technological engineering in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic era has become a bright spot in life towards society 5.0 in the Covid-19 Pandemic era. In this situation, STEM-based learning that combined the knowledge and skills of each aspect of STEM was expected to be able to assist students in solving a problem comprehensively. However, there has been no research that attempts to measure civic literacy in remote learning through technological engineering. This study aimed to examine the component of civic literacy in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used was qualitative descriptive. The study concluded that students had varied civic literacy competencies. Besides, the STEM relationship in technological engineering in pandemic era was reinforced in line with the characteristics of remote learning. This study provided recommendations for further measuring competence in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
