Abstract

Agile principles can be used appropriately in management of general projects, outside the object of study of computer science and allow a quick adaptation to new realities. In this work we propose a management process model of distance learning courses within the context of the Open University of Brazil (Universidade Aberta do Brasil - UAB) in order to manage the flow of activities in the construction of a distance learning course. This research work is based on principles of agile management, model driven engineering and management models for supporting distance learning courses. We provide a domain-specific language based on agile method adapted to UAB context. We propose a prototype of our approach based on models. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media.
