Currently, the development of digital books has taken off for theoretical courses, simulating courses, and laboratories. The Jupyter-python Notebook open source programming environment has been adopted as a development platform for simulation courses. This article describes the inclusion of the Octave and latex simulation kernel to develop the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) course. The course gives the possibility to perform simulations either in Python programming language or, in Octave simulation language, all simulation results are presented graphically, making it easier for the student to understand the theoretical concepts. The course can be accessed remotely via the internet.
