Abstract

In the original article, there was a mistake in Figure 1 as published. The group of cells highlighted in red (in the upper part of the figure) are named “meristem,” while it should more specifically refer to the “quiescent center.” The corrected Figure 1 appears below. The authors apologize for this error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The original article has been updated.
