PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR BERBASIS ETNOMATEMATIKA UKIR KAYU JEPARA PADA MATERI TRANSFORMASI GEOMETRI KELAS IX SMP/MTs

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to develop teaching materials based on ethnomathematics in Jepara Wood Carving on Geometric Transformation material of class IX SMP/MTs students and knowing the level of feasibility of the developed teaching materials. The development model used is the ADDIE model. In this research, researchers only used 3 stages in the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design, and Development. The results of developing ethnomathematical-based teaching materials were tested by a material expert and two practitioners, readability test by five mathematics students, and student response test by three SMP/MTs students. The results of the research showed that the results of the feasibility test showed that the teaching materials were very suitable for use in learning with a percentage of 94.16%. The results of the readability test showed that the teaching materials were easily understood by the readers with a percentage of 92%. The results of the student response test showed that the teaching materials received a very good response with a percentage of 86.67%. Thus the teaching materials developed can be stated as teaching materials that are very feasible and easy to understand for use in learning.   Keywords:  Teaching materials; Ethnomathematics; Geometry Transformation; Wood Carving   ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis etnomatematika pada Ukir Kayu Jepara pada materi Transformasi Geometri kelas IX SMP/MTs dan mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dari bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti hanya menggunakan 3 tahap dalam model ADDIE yaitu Analysis (analisis), Design (desain), dan Development (pengembangan). Hasil pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis etnomatematika ini dilakukan uji kelayakan oleh seorang ahli materi dan dua praktisi, uji keterbacaan oleh lima mahasiswa matematika, dan uji respon siswa oleh tiga siswa SMP/MTs. Diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan bahan ajar sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan persentase  Hasil uji keterbacaan menunjukkan bahan ajar mudah dipahami oleh pembaca dengan persentase  Hasil uji respon siswa menunjukkan bahan ajar mendapatkan respon yang sangat baik dengan persentase  Dengan demikian, bahan ajar yang dikembangkan ini dapat dinyatakan sebagai bahan ajar yang sangat layak dan mudah dipahami untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran.   Kata Kunci: Bahan Ajar; Etnomatematika; Transformasi Geometri; Ukir Kayu
