Abstract

It is largely acknowledged that multiple and complex pathophysiological mechanisms may be at play in neuropathic pain. This short review summarises the current understanding of pathophysiology of neuropathic pain and focuses on how symptoms translate in mechanisms. © Springer-VerlagItalia 2006.
